community building

Work with a team of likeminded individuals, youth leaders in the global dance world. With our staff and online community, volunteers can develop ties and foster long term professional relationships with peers, mentors, dance companies, and other organizations.

The dance world is heavily dependent on community in order to network, propose and obtain jobs, see performance, and so much more.

Not only will volunteers be able to immerse themselves in this professional community in a safe way, but staff will be able to engage in meaningful and fun conversations with other young, dance artists with a passion for making change!

be a part of change

Equity In Dance is a volunteer organization that is very active in both the dance community and in social justice. Our team is constantly learning, unlearning, deconstructing systems, and working to better the dance community.

As a whole, much of the dance world was founded or is supported by oppressive systems and language, and has the ability to cause extreme damage. Equity In Dance works to challenge this & help the dance world heal generations of trauma.
